Sweet Summer

This is a layout I did a long time ago as a challenge for the Paper Flourish Scrapbookers' Club “White Space”.
White Space is so far out of my comfort zone and so different from my usual style, I wasn’t sure how I was going to go. Well, I ended up LOVING it and did about 6 or 7 layouts using this theme. This one was my favourite and was picked up by Scrapbooking Memories and published in Vol 14 No. 4

8 Years

So this is my interpretation of the prima BAP Sketch for Jan 2012. My Goal for this year is to scrap at least 2 of the photos I take as part of the Paint the Moon Challenge I am doing.
The main photo on this layout was taken for the theme ‘Open’ and it is of a beautiful necklace I was given for my 8th wedding anniversary by my lovely hubby!

Paper Flourish Haberdashery Challenge

The January 2012 Scrapbookers' Club Challenge at Paper Flourish is ‘Haberdashery’. I loved this challenge! We were all given a choice of Fabric Covered Brads or Buttons to use in this challenge and I chose yellow buttons.
For my first layout out I used Teresa Collins new line and the yellow papers fitted perfectly with my yellow buttons, however I didn’t think it had enough ‘Haberdashery’ on it. So I did another. My second layout was based around a piece of paper from the new October Afternoon Farm House collection. I sewed on pieces of fabric using my new sewing machine, there was a lot more ‘Haberdashery ’this time.
I have one more layout in my head, I will see if I can squeeze another one in for January J

Grown Up

Because December had been such a busy month, I decided to combine my Prima BAP & PPP challenges into one.  The photos are from my oldest son's year 12 formal, I was a little taken back with how grown up he looked. He walk down the hall in his school uniform a boy and walked back up in his suit, as a young man!

Family is Forever & Love

These two layouts were for a Paper Flourish challenge, the theme was ‘Family’!
The photos were taken at the time of my cousins wedding a few weeks ago, we headed to the park next to our house and got the kids to shoot us before we left. I was very happy how they turned out, they were perfect to use with the Prima Pixie Glen Range J

Intrigue

This is my favourite photo I have taken of Jayden! He has grown up so much this year (14 years old). I really wanted to scrap this photo before he changes even more.  I used lots of yummy Prima Product, along with a few bits from Tim Holtz which are great for boy pages, including the Weathered Clock, Gadget Gears and Vintage Trimming dies.

Sisters

While I was still inspired from Your Creative Journey, I thought I would have a go at the Prima November PPP. Here is my layout using the palate.
